Please do the step below BEFORE PURCHASING THIS TUNE. At this time, only the 2018.5 TCM is supported (which can be installed in an older Q). If you purchase without checking and need a refund, you will be charged a 15% return fee! No exceptions!

This service is only available to customers currently tuned by SONICTUNED LLC and on Race Rom 6. If you are tuned by someone else, you will need to reach out to them to see if they offer this service.

For my current customers looking to have their TCM tuned:

First, make sure your phone OS and ECUTEK app are up to date. In the ECUTEK APP, go to SETTINGS->INFO->check firmware and update it if it needs it. Then, back out to the main settings page, scroll down to ECU definitions and update them. Once that’s done, go to the program ECU tab and "Send vehicle into to tuner." You will have to manual select vehicle make and model before being able to submit vehicle info. Since I am already your tuner, once you submit the info, I will get an email showing the TCM you have and if it is tunable or not. You will receive an email from TUNING@SONICTUNED.COM letting you know if your TCU can be tuned and can then make the purchase.

THIS IS FOR INFINITI Q50/Q60S THAT ARE 2018.5-2023 or any 2016-2023 with an updated valvebody. If your car autoshifts from 1st-2nd gear in manual mode, your TCM will most likely be good. To verify, please contact me so I can give you the first step to pre-check before making the purchase.

LEVEL 1 TCM TUNING INCLUDES UPDATED SHIFT SCHEDULING, INCREASED SHIFT SPEEDS, AND INCREASED SHIFT PRESSURE.

SHIFT SHEDULING CHANGES WILL ALLOW THE CAR TO BE LEFT IN AUTOMATIC SPORT MODE AND SHIFT AT THE PROPER RPM IN EVERY GEAR.

PLEASE NOTE, STOCK TURBO CARS WILL NEED TO RETAIN THE EARLY 1-2 SHIFT TO MAINTAIN PROPER PERFORMANCE. ALL OTHER SHIFT POINTS WILL BE RAISED TO THE CORRECT LEVEL. IT HAS BEEN FOUND THAT ALLOWING A FULL RPM SHIFT ON THE 1-2 WILL ACTUALLY SLOW THE CAR DOWN DUE TO THE 2ND GEAR RATIO.

LEVEL 1 TCM TUNING IS SUITABLE FOR STOCK TURBO CARS IN ALL CONFIGURATIONS. LEVEL 2 TUNING WILL BE REQUIRED FOR BIG TURBO CARS.

This service requires the purchase of a non-refundable digital license for your vehicle to allow it to be calibrated by an ECUTEK tuner. This license is purchased and provided by SONICTUNED LLC to transfer to your car and cannot be resold or returned under any circumstance. Once it is applied to your vehicle, it is permanent to your specific vehicle and VIN. This license can be trasfered between tuners if being used on the same vehicle but cannot be transferred to another vehicle. A performance tune/calibration is meant to push your vehicle well past it's factory set safety limits. The calibration/tune you will receive has been tested on a vast majority of customer cars and has been proven to be safe. That DOES NOT guarantee a failure will not occur. Just as a completely stock engine/turbo/drivetrain with zero modifications can fail, a vehicle modified past stock will decrease the safety margin of error and a failure can occur. Failing, worn, or faulty parts that may have operated issue free on a stock car can almost immediately fail once more power is applied to them. This is the risk you take and accept when you modify a vehicle. There is ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY or refund given by SONICTUNED LLC for a part or engine failure as a direct or indirect result of modifying your vehicles engine calibration. By purchasing this calibration you agree to and understand that SONICTUNED LLC cannot and will not be held liable for such failures.

The ECUTEK CONNECT KIT has a 1 year warranty from from the date of purchase if purhased through SONICTUNED. If you purchase a tune from SONICTUNED and already have a connect kit, you will need to contact the original seller for any warranty work.
